Music: Foo Fighters, Godsmack, Banaroo Festival, Sonic Temple Festival!

Foo Fighters Announce First Live Shows of 2023.

Despite the tragic loss of drummer Taylor Hawkins, Foo Fighters remain undaunted - and have released the dates for their first live shows of 2023.

Announcing last week that the band would continue on, but as a "different band", the Foos have signed on for a couple of concert dates - including a headlining gig at Bonnaroo in June. It's not known who will man the drum set for the band, but lead singer Dave Grohl is also a drummer - and the band has several tight connections with famous drummers like Josh Freese and Rufus Taylor. The concert dates announced so far include:

  • May 26: Boston Calling, Boston, Massachusetts
  • May 28: Sonic Temple - Columbus, Ohio
  • June 6: Bonnaroo - Manchester, Tennessee

No doubt more dates will be added in the near future.
