A New Dating App Bans Ghosting and Talking to Multiple People at Once.

When you're on the dating scene, it's not uncommon to have several "irons in the fire" . . . but online dating has made it relatively easy to be talking to DOZENS of people at once, looking for a match.

There's a new dating app that does the opposite. It's called "Tame" . . . and the idea is that you focus on one person at a time. In fact, the app won't let you look at other profiles until you "close" the conversation you're in.

So there's no ghosting if you want to continue using the app. You need to end a chat . . . and provide a reason . . . before moving on. And once you leave a chat, you can never contact that person again.

There's also no swiping. To find matches, you'll fill out profiles and participate in questionnaires. The people behind the app claim it's "healthier" this way.

But people on social media have been criticizing the idea . . . saying that it's everything from an inefficient use of time to an "online prison." Tame says they're "completely open to feedback" and are "working with your suggestions."
